7 Deadly Sins - Beauty Edition
I've seen this tag going around on Youtube and may actually do a video on it but for now (While stuck at work on a night shift.. send caffeine please!) I figured a post will have to do. Please excuse the google based photos, I didn't know I would be doing this so couldn't take pictures at home beforehand!1. GREED - What is your most inexpensive beauty product? What is your most expensive?
I figured instead of talking about Palettes which are obviously going to cost a fair bit due to the amount of shadows/blushers/lipsticks etc within them I would go for a single beauty item that had a high price tag.
Most Expensive: The Guerlain Meteorites in Cruel Gardenia.
Yes she's beautiful and limited edition which just makes her extra tempting, But this baby cost £41!
Not my first expensive highlighter, Having given into the hype of Dior's Amber Diamond and owning a fair amount of MAC Mineralize skin finishes. But this baby really does take the bullet price wise.
I don't regret it though. In fact I wish I had a back up as I am non stop using it!
It's perfect for a light pink sheen across the top of the cheeks for the pale skin girlys.
Most Inexpensive: MUA Eyeshadows.
I have quite a selection of these and while I'll admit some are hit and miss for the most part the colour payoff is amazing and I've found them easy to blend.
There's a large variety of colours from nudes to brights and mattes to shimmers. And for £1 a shadow you could pretty much buy them all!
The other great thing is that they are constantly coming out with new shades so you can keep on building up your collection.
(The lipsticks are pretty good too!)
Love/hate relationship: Avon Supershock gel eyeliner pencil.
Love it due to the reasonable price, The fact that it's so dark and goes onto the waterline easily making it non-irritating to my sensitive eyes.
I know it can be set with powder but even then it still seems to bleed under my eyes quite badly.
I will find a way to use it though! It's too lovely not to.
Hardest to find: I don't actually have one! I've been pretty lucky with getting hold of items I'm wanting and those I do want to try that are hard to get hold of are only that way due to which country they are sold in.
Such as Tarte products or 80% of the Sephora items! But they aren't hard to find, They are just hard to actually physically get my hands on.
3. GLUTTONY - What are your most delicious beauty products?
The Urban Decay Naked Palette is definitely scrummy!
I use this badboy every day and know that when I have to travel it's the only thing I need to bring for my eye colours.
Perfect for day time and night looks I'd recommend it to anyone interested in make-up in the slightest.
I would also have to go with the YSL lipsticks. Especially the Rouge Volupte's.
Pictured is my all time favourite nude, Sensual silk.
These glide onto the lip with ease and always have the perfect colour pay off. The packaging is luxurious and the fact that the colour is integrated onto the design of the tube means you're never left guessing which shade you're pulling from your collection.
The perfect item when treating yourself!
Moisturiser! I know it's a basic and I do put it on before I go to bed but I also know that it's supposed to be put on a little while before make-up application to help your foundation and concealer glide on easier but I always forget it!
Lucky for me I use a BB cream which feels just like a Moisturiser and doesn't cling to any dry skin so I tend to get away with it. Still bad though!
5. PRIDE - What beauty product gives you more confidence?
Mascara. I can go out without most make-up but can't go anywhere without a little Mascara.
I feel it just opens up my eyes making them appear bigger and helping me to look awake (which is rarely the case).
6. LUST - What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I don't really see what this has to do with beauty so I will pick one attribute which is semi-beauty related as well as two non-beauty attributes
Non-Beauty: Eyes as I'm a big one for making eye contact, And obviously I'd like to look into them for longer if they're actually nice! Secondly would be smile, If a guy has a kind and cute smile I'll instantly feel more relaxed around him. (All of these drew me to the boyfriend)
Beauty Related: SMELL! If a guy smells nice I know he actually cares what I think of him and It'll also make being cuddled up to him that much more appealing. So a nice aftershave will always win him brownie points.
7. ENVY - What item would you most like to receive as a gift?
Seeing as it's beauty related I am going to go with perfume. I tend to keep my perfume buying to the January sales where I can get the big sets for cheaper.
I'll stock up on a load of them and that'll see me to the following year if not longer.
But if I was going to be treated I would never turn down the following which is my all time favourite perfume (Pricey though, Why do we always want the things that are going to hurt our pockets?)

Starting Fresh
It would appear that when I decided joining Google+ would be a good idea I got a little click happy with the mouse and accidently DELETED every picture I'd ever posted.
I admit I sulked for a while but I've decided it's time to get over it and start again.
So this will be my new.. old corner of the net where I will be posting the inner most workings of a beauty obsessed mind.
